At Ring, every device and service we make is designed to help give Neighbors peace of mind inside, protection outside, and a connection to what’s happening in the neighborhood.
It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with receiving alerts and notifications from your Ring on your mobile device. We recommend checking the settings on your mobile device to ensure that you have notifications enabled for the Ring app and your volume turned up. Toggle on the Motion Alerts tab on the device's page in the Ring app.
Open the Ring app and tap the menu (☰) in the top left corner.
Tap "Devices," then select the relevant device.
At the top of the screen, you can toggle the following on or off:
Ring Alerts
Motion Detection
Motion Alerts
Motion Warning (if your device has the feature)

This is our third one the other one finally had issues connecting to the internet so we replaced it these two hooked up right away The other one was about 2 years old

Does not work the best looking out our kitchen window. For some reason it doesn’t catch all the movement. I’d say about 50% of the time it misses it.

We use it to check on the house when we’re out. I love the motion sensor alerts it sends. Haven’t been able to figure out how to use the two way speaker yet but overall glad I got this.
