It sounds like your Ring Outdoor Cam is not performing as expected. We would love the opportunity to share with you some troubleshooting steps that you can try to get your Ring Outdoor Cam functioning as intended. If your device is unresponsive, try pressing and holding the reset button for 20 seconds. Follow the steps in the Ring app to reconnect the doorbell or camera to your network. To reconnect a Ring Outdoor Cam to your wifi network: Open the Ring app. Tap the menu (≡). Tap "Devices" and select the doorbell or camera you'd like to reconnect to wifi. Tap the "Device Health" tile. Under "Network," tap "Change Network" and follow the prompts in the app. Allow some time for your device to fully reconnect to the network, then check your wifi signal strength in "Device Health" to confirm it has successfully reconnected.

I believe it’s a software issue or maybe their server. It slow and lags. As far as the green screen. I didn’t see any. But I love it because it cordless.

Although distance does play a big part in the overall connectivity and quality of the live video, there are other factors to consider. Nearby interference, network limitations or a combination of both can also affect your cameras' ability to connect to quality video in a timely manner. For example, if your cameras are mounted on a surface that is made out of heavy-duty materials, an otherwise strong signal may diminish as it passes through those. Materials such as metal, brick, and cement could prove to be a challenge. Do you happen to have your cameras mounted on or near something like this?
