I bought 2 of these on sale bc my Wife and I decided we would like to have some peace of mind either while we sleep or when we are gone. Mine are all hard wired in, no battery usage unless power goes out so I can not comment on that portion of the camera. But the camera itself has great quality; as in video and audio. One of the 2 is out of the weather, while the other is in the corner of our carport so it is exposed to the weather and have had no issues with it, nor shows any sign that rain will shorten its life span. I think it will last several years and sure makes my Wife feel safe! We have alerts go to our phones as well as to Amazon devices throughout the house. One feature it is lacking is “Geo-fencing” I wish it had to change modes automatically instead of having to physically open the app and change it. Maybe they can add this feature with an update. But for that reason I’m only doing 3 stars. That is the only downfall so if it doesn’t matter to you then this is a 5 Star product.

Great quality camera.. the imaging looks great!!!!

I like ring products and i have been using them for years, Ive had very few problems with them, I especially like this ring stick up Cam because the battery is removable and if you set the settings right the battery last for a good while, only down side is the latency on being able access the content it records & sometimes, very few times it will miss a recording you wish you had captured but best product and service on the market thats affordable in my opion.

Surprisingly reliable and clear camera. I didn’t expect much from this product at 1st, but between battery life and the clarity of the image, along with its durable build, I am very impressed and have purchased more.

This is a great little camera. Setup was fairly easy and the quality it top notch. It does not work with HomeKit for Apple unless you are willing to do a little extra. I am planning to add more of these as needed and would recommend to family members.

I was having problems with suspected porch pirates. Because of the location of the doorbell, and the fact I'm in a rental, I could not install a regular Ring doorbell camera. This unit is very easy to install and setup. Customer service was awesome on the few questions I had. Together with a corner mounting bracket from Amazon, I was able to get the perfect view of my mailbox and front porch. Don't try to mount inside a window looking out -the reflection in the window glass will mess with the motion sensor and picture quality.

They're great BUT- absolutely not good if you're using inside your home to face outside of a window. Motion detection will not alert you but live video quality will be great!

Excellent camera! Clear images day and night. Mounted on a tree in our yard. Got the solar panel to go with it, so we don't ever have to change the batteries. Highly recommend. Ring offers outstanding customer support.

Security Camera works well, after a little adjusting you can set up just what you want. If you want to hang from overhang, buy the optional mount to make it easy. I also suggest a spare battery or the solar option so it can be ready constantly.

The quality of the picture is amazing! Set up is also very easy!

Easy aet up and works well. Battery took time to charge but with current settings has functioned for 3 weeks and used only 17% of battery power

Good addition to the ring system. Decent battery life and easy to connect. I can keep an eye on the dogs when away.

Nice Camera. Works very will. Recommend you get the solar panel too. Keeps it up and running no need to recharge does it for you.

Easy to install. I got this to keep an eye on my 13 year old weiner dog while I'm at work, because he's been having seizures. I just recently had to charge the battery. The pictures/videos are clear in both day and night or when the lights are off.

My first Ring camera and working good so far. Captures some unexpected events (tree branches moving, etc.), but good otherwise. Battery life appears to be good. Looks like will last around 3-4 months for my usage.

Picture quality is great. Adjustable range of detection is nice to have,Night vision is black and white but very detailed in visibility. Couldn’t be happier with our new ring addition.

great camera , works perfectly, the app is very easy and simple to use. setting up the camera takes 5 minutes with very easy steps.
