Based on your review, it seems that you are not fully satisfied with your Ring Stickup Camera. If your device is not working as intended we recommend resetting your device. To reset your Stickup Camera press and hold the setup button for 10-15 seconds and release. Once the white light on the the device stops blinking proceed with the setup process. Based on your review, it seems that you are not fully satisfied with your Ring Stickup Camera. The Stick Up Cam uses infrared motion capturing to detect motion, within its field of view. You can use the Ring app to determine the Stick Up Cam’s motion detection range and the specific zones where motion will trigger a smart alert. These settings help ensure that the Stick Up Cam will capture the events you want to see and ignore the ones you don’t. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us by leaving a review. We are constantly pushing ourselves to develop products to empower users with an affordable, effective way to monitor and secure their home. We will ensure your feedback is passed along to the proper internal contacts.
At this time, we do not have the option for 24/7 recording but do have the option for on demand live view. Using the live view feature, your Ring device will record up to 10 minutes of video. We also offer Snapshot Capture which works by taking still frame photos at selected time intervals and uploading them to the Ring cloud. You can then view these snapshots on your Event Timeline, just like you do for events. Snapshots will be stored in the cloud for seven days. After that they are automatically deleted. This will not affect any of your motion events or Live Views. We understand the importance of having a solid charge on your Ring Stick Up Camera in order to have a longer charge time between charge cycles. We would be happy to provide you with more insight into what's causing the need for frequent recharges. 

Ring devices' batteries are designed to last months between charges under normal conditions. However, real battery life is dependent on a number of factors, such as local weather, the number of events captured, and the frequency of activation. Hi Totchket, I definitely understand the importance of maintaining your privacy. You have full control over whether or not your Stick Up Cam detects and records motion. These options can be manually toggled on and off on the device profile page, or you can control them with the Modes settings. Additionally, nobody has access to your Stick Up Cam unless you choose to add them as a Shared User.
