Only security cameras I now buy other than dual battery spotlight Ring security cameras. These work flawlessly everywhere, inside and outside. Only challenge was wifi distance. Fixed that with Ring Chime Pros that extend wifi range.

Bought this on sale. The price as less than Amazon's. The set up was extremely easy. You just install the app and scan the QR code. It is ready to use. You can tweak the settings later. I purchased a 3rd party mount later and mount it outside the house. The video works day and night and the quality is great. Battery life depends on the settings and how often it is triggered. I purchased another battery and changed it once since first installed.
