Ring camera can be placed anywhere without wires

A few quirks and suggestions of note. These are really only worth it for outdoor cams or if placing somewhere where wiring isn’t an option. These battery cams won’t detect motion through glass windows. The plug in cams will. The plug in cams are also half the price and don’t ever need to have a battery changed. The plug-in Ring cams are also much smaller, lighter, and more stealth despite the need to be plugged in. The battery power doesn’t mean much say in a power outage because the wifi would be down anyways.

I bought 2 white and 2 black on sale and I'm very happy with my purchase. Resolution is good. Wifi connection is satisfactory in this 1940s double brick home with aluminum siding and steel roof. Able to access data when 10 miles from home. Just what I need.
