Bought this to keep an eye on the kids when playing in our backyard. It's a great camera, especially when paired up with the solar charger. Very easy to use with the app, and I love how you can have it set to record when another camera pics up motion. Highly recommend it for outdoor use.

Connection to wifi is good and convenient, the only issue is you won't have 24/hf 365 day coverage, because you will have to charge the batteries unless you have an extra one, and cycle them.

Both video and audio quality are very nice. Super easy to install and link up using the app… I have a few around the house and they totally help both when I’m home or not. Let’s me know when people are around… delivery drivers, neighbors, and even would be intruders.. highly recommended camera and company Ring

The motion is very precise and alerts right away when detected

The whole process from unboxing, all the way to accessing video footage is absolutely flawless. The Ring camera systems, as well as the Ring app, work seamlessly together to create a safety net for your home and your mind. Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install, battery power lasts about 2 months with my motion detection settings, app is user friendly Cameras cannot be mounted upside down (to a ceiling) as ring has locked down this feature in their software, you will need a special mount to fasten to a ceiling. If this issue was not present I would have given a higher rating, but overall this is a good system, with good compatibility to other platforms, good user interface and easy to use.

If you want to keep an eye on your pets, or on on the kids when you’re away from home, it’s a great addition to your home security system.
