The quality of the live view and video is amazing under all levels of lighting and even when there is no light.

Picture quality was very good. I installed it on a window inside. One drawback was I could not get pictures at night because the light on the camera reflected off the glass. I moved the camera to another location.

The Ring Stick Up Cam can look out a window, however, the glass can have an impact on the device's functionality. During the in-app setup it will ask you if the camera will be looking out a window, if you select 'Yes', it does warn you that doing so can block night vision and negatively impact motion detection.

Having one definitely puts emotions more at ease as far as house safety

The connections are great, the battery life isn't 6 months but roughly 2-3 months before you have to recharge. This isn't an issue and I can live with it!
