Problem with mode settings

However this camera for some reason (not even ring support knew why) the camera will not show up in Mode Settings, so the Home, Stay and Away function is useless for this camera. I have to manually go to the camera settings and turn the camera on and off. I have two other ring camera’s and they both work great in the Mode Settings. Luckily I purchased the geek squad extended warranty, because best buy only has a 14 day return/exchange policy. I’ve never heard of a company having less than 30 days to return/exchange a product. There are a couple other issues with this camera as well. Hopefully after I exchange this camera, the new, new camera works the way it’s should.

Nice Indoor camera

Pros: It has a really nice clear picture and like the live feature as well as the two way talking feature. I also like that you can get updates from other surrounding Ring users. It also came with a free Amazon Echo Dot. Cons: updates on movements from the camera are delayed. Sometimes 30 minutes after movement occurred.

Great To Keep An Eye On Things

They have worked great. They also allowed my wife go back to work while keeping an eye on me as I recovered from surgery.

I would suggest if you are using it in a townhouse setting on a garage, you may need the extender for your wifi to make the connection much stronger.

Need to have extra eyes on the area outside his door. The set up was easy and there have been no package issues since installation.

All Ring products are easy to set up, and easy to use. I like that every device I keep adding gets set up in one place and bridges without any issues.

It doesn't get a lot of action, but I have it there in the event someone tries to gain access to my home. The battery hasn't been charged yet and I've had it set up for about five weeks now.

Being wireless enables one to place them high and not have to worry about running wire. It also makes me feel more secure cause they’re not easily reached by intruders. Go Ring!
