These cameras are great. Easy to install, phone set up was simple and charging (also the length of time the unit stays charged) is great. Would have purchased the black ones (but they were out of stock) because they are used outside and white stands out. I like that you can turn off the light when it records, makes it a little less noticeable. The recording quality is excellent, picture is clear, even during rain and snow. You can place these cameras pretty much anywhere, even upside down. They're a lil on the pricey side but worth the money.

I have had many different security cameras systems. I must say this is one of the better companies. It clear, reliable, easy to setup. Battery life is good. Has night vision, motion sensors that you can adjust. Real time camera footage that you can access through the app. Only thing I wish I bought the upgraded versions with 4K resolution. The 1080p is still crisp and clear no complaints. Just preference. All around great product. Money well spent.

Has wide angle of view which is nice, battery lasts over a month with normal usage. I recommend getting the solar charger which is awesome. You can easily add different zones that activate the camera as well as tons of different options to customize what your needs are. There is also a color nighttime option that you can enable that helps a little bit with clarity at night. It also has a siren built in that you can scare people off. It does require a subscription for any storage which is the only drawback.

these are very simple to set up and relatively inexpensive. they are easy to set up outside however, consider what kind of wifi system you have since that signal will have to reach through your walls. if the signal is weak then recordings will be corrupted and not saved. battery life is good and video quality is equivalent to the ring doorbell

I installed this up on my house to look at the driveway. It works well as long as you have good internet. I did get a solar panel because I was tired of recharging the battery each month. Get a solar panel and never have to worry about recharging the camera battery. Sometimes there is a delay in movement. Could be the internet though on a timed delay which I find annoying at times.

These cameras are super easy to install on walls. The app was also very easy to connect the Cameras to. With multiple settings you don’t have to be notified every time there’s motion. The pictures are sharp and clear and you can zoom in. I did the battery powered cameras because I did not want cords hanging everywhere. The batteries are really easy to change but so far after a month there’s still plenty of charge in each camera. The cloud storage is relatively cheap if you have multiple cameras. Overall just a great product.

This camera offers peace of mind. Especially with how things are nowadays having a security camera is a must. Clear picture and sound. Night vision and easy set up and use. Can't go wrong with a ring camera. For the price it's a steal.

Review from a Google Nest owner/user.

My wife's parents are in the Amazon eco-system so when they asked for a couple cameras at their house and barn, I decided to give these Ring cameras a try for their needs. I use Nest equipment in my own home so this review will be from that perspective. The physical installation was by far the easiest part of all this. It's really kind of hard to mess it up and you either mount it one way or another. Initial camera setup was kind of a pain. Especially in the barn where the signal from their WIFI isn't the best. I installed an extender that helped but not as straight-forward as my Nest camera installations. There is a point in particular where it's downloading a firmware update and it takes so long that you question whether it's going to actually finish or not. It does, just be patient... Now I didn't have a whole lot of time playing with the software on the phone application, but from what I experienced I will say it was at least on par with Nest with the ease of accessing your camera feeds. You can even ask Alexa to show you X camera (Barn or Front Door in our case), and it pulled it up without any fuss. I can't speak for the longevity of the battery as it's still too new, but I will say it took an entire evening to charge the batteries full. So hopefully that means it will hold the 1-2 month claim the BestBuy representative claimed on them. Overall if you have Amazon products already I can say these cameras will work well with your setup. If your already using Nest products, I can't see a compelling reason to switch over but everyone has their preferences. I.E. Android vs Apple, etc.

I have this camera sinse 2019 outside the house up in the roof. Supporting weather inclemency This is my morning window to check the weather. Its being powered by a small solar panel sold by ring too. Both items have been working amazing wifi connection is very stable and reliable. I love thus camera and highly recommended it. Image gets blurry when its fuggy but goes away as soon the day clears. You dont have to clean anything. Image will resume crystal clear. This is a hood camera 100%

I love it. With the rechargeable battery it’s totally wireless. Was easy to install and hook up to my Wi-Fi. Has a great picture and is easy to set up the motion zones. Has a really good microphone, but the speaker is a little quiet and hard to hear sometimes outside.

This new version of the stick-up camera is awesome. The 1080p quality is crisp and clear during the day and night. Easy to setup and install. I purchased the solar panel a week later so I don’t need to worry about charging the battery. One slight drawback is the response delay when doing a live view but that is only a second. Overall a really well built and designed camera that you can install where there is not a power outlet nearby.

The Ring 1080p wireless stick up camera is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable home security solution. The high-quality video resolution ensures crystal clear footage, while the wireless capabilities make installation quick and easy. The motion detection feature is highly responsive and the two-way audio communication adds an extra layer of security. Overall, the Ring 1080p wireless stick up camera is a top-notch option for peace of mind and surveillance in and around your home. There is also a wired version, which I hear is another great option, but I personally have not yet tried. Definitely would recommend this one if you are looking for a good compact size security camera:)

So easy to setup and install. No brainer to link with Ring app. Battery is easy to remove for periodic charging. Image is good. Choice of alert settings are good too. Wide viewing angle. I can watch my disabled spouse when he is home alone. We’re going to buy another one. Great price on sale for 30% off.

Purchased for front door. Very easy to set up. Paired with Ring "Floodlight Battery" and Ring "Doorbell Cam" (at carport door). Now they all sinc together to give me great coverage for my whole front yard. Ecxellent picture quality. Installed on July 3rd and here on August 1st the battery is only down to 38%. I would recommend only mounting or placing the camera within fairly easy reach as you will need access to it to replace the battery when needed.

Pros: Easy to setup, great image, Well thought out design and concept. I like the peace of mind that I can keep an eye on things when I’m away. Cons: Should come with a ceiling mount for this price. Easy to configure zones and ability to set sensitivity and a people only mode. BUT those settings aren’t not very effective, get way too many false alarms for small animals, shadows on the ground from car headlights and cars that are out of the zone. So much so I have gotten to where I just ignore the notifications. I like the concept and will continue making adjustments.
