Like most people looking into security devices there are a million questions. Subscriptions are the number one reason people shy away from these devices. I can tell you that paying $3 a month for all the features is worth it. The sound quality, night vision, and tons of options in the app make this my number one brand. Charging is as easy as unscrewing the bottom, popping out the battery and plugging it in. It charges fast and holds battery life for a very long time. You can adjust the length of recording, sensitivity of the device, and set up a geo control over where it records. I love the ability to choose home, away, or guard. I want to own dozens of these

I love ring but with everything there are pros and cons. Cons: the recording cuts off even though the settings are set to constant recording. Sometimes the kitchen wired one cuts off completely and we’d have to reset it. But it’s only been that one. It’s not the WiFi because we have 3 outside that work fine. You have to buy separately. There’s not package deal. Pros: it records while you’re looking at live view unlike some other security systems. It’s clear and you can zoom in. The subscription isn’t pricey You don’t have to have an SD card and having to buy things separately. It’s easy to install and pair. The app is user friendly. There’s no way you can get lost in it and everything is organized. The app has neighbors that usually post things like shady people that’s been around their house near you. Like a neighborhood watch. The two way talk system is clear. It has an alarm button. The option to get a solar panel for outside cameras. There’s a lot more pros than there are cons. We have 6 of them and we’ll be getting a doorbell next.

Seems like a great camera so far. Setup was very simple with the rest of my Ring system. Battery life seems to be good so far and I expect to have to charge about once per month. Image is clear and night vision is good.

This device has an sends excellent picture, it was easy to install and helps to detect anyone in the vicinity.

Given the bad press Ring has received I still like the system, you just need to be ware of it and Put measures in place in order to dill with it given interaction with technological advances and the inherent dangers. This being said, I have been using the Ring system almost since it’s beginning. I love the removable batteries for charging. In the past I would have to take the camera down to recharge the battery. I purchased an additional battery which has made it more convent. I can switch them out as needed. I have the systems with the paid recording, because of the number of cameras I have, in my home and my condo at the beach. I am certain that there are more expensive systems out there but this one does what it is supposed to do, in spite of the short lag in responding to alerts. The cameras catch what I need to know and are easy to install and work with.

Tis camera works great. It was easy to install, has excellent video and records for added security. The addition of the solar panel power makes it even better since I don't have to worry about charging the battery.

I planned on placing this camera indoors facing outside through a window but that does not pick up motion correctly. So I moved it indoors, and it works perfectly! The app is easy to use and it is easy to setup. You can set up modes to help with privacy. The battery life is awesome. Takes a long time to fully charge BTW. I bought a ring security system to go with it and they all work great together!

Can’t say enough about the Ring. Easy setup and you can’t beat wireless. They could lower the price a bit and the picture quality at night is just okay from far away, up close it has a good picture

Camera was best option for giving an opposite view of my yard , that was unviewed. The price was fair, the battery holds up well so far since that area of the yard has no electrical wiring. This goes hand & hand with the doorbell camera, floodlight camera now my property has 360 views.

I purchased this ring camera so I could watch my dogs while I am away from home. The camera has a crisp clear picture and has a very wide angle so I can see the whole living room. It stays charged and I have recharged it once when the ring app informed me it was low.

The ring cameras are great. They are 1080p HD and have night vision. Also, very easy to install. I would suggest purchasing the solar panel to charge the battery. You won't need to constantly check the battery level since the solar panel keeps it charged.

Clear camera quality, happy with battery life. Easy to install if you are looking for non hard wire option.

Since we already had a Ring Doorbell, we decided to get another Ring Camera to secure a different position/angle of the house. We installed this one outside and so far we had no problems with it. The video quality is excellent. Connection doesn't drop nor it has glitches. It has a lot of settings and features that you can customize with. The battery lasts long, too, and doesn't really require us to buy a solar charger. Though I guess it depends on the usage and settings made, that there would be times you need a solar charger for it. Easy to install.

I love this ring camera. It has great quality, battery last a while and I like that you can talk through it. I use it to watch my cats while I’m at work!

This was an additional camera purchase to add to my home security system. I have 3 other Ring stick up cams and they all work for what i need. I like the black cameras because they blend in better with a background and become invisible. My Ring cams have recorded several individuals attempting to break into my cars and steal items from my yard. I would recommend this cam to anyone interested in keeping an eye on their property. You may need several to get complete coverage but I have never had a problem with connectivity to my wifi system. Easy to install as is or maybe you might need one of several products available to make it easier to put it where you want it. I have solar panels and extra batteries for the cold winter months. Overall a good choice for a simple and easy security device.

I was a little skeptical about getting a battery powered camera cause I didn’t want to have to worry about forgetting to recharge and being out of town and not having this camera operational. The battery life is better than advertised. I purchased this on 1/15/23 and installed the camera the next morning and at the time of writing this review (2/10/23) the camera’s battery is at 80%. The cameras settings are set at about a medium demand. That’s pretty incredible. Set up and installation is super easy and at this rate, the battery will last months on a single charge. This camera is highly recommended. It exceeded my expectations.

This is another item that Best Buy had me get that they knew I would be very happy well guess what? I’m very, very very happy this camera does it all it tells you what is going on around you the picture is really good. I can’t believe I live without this Where I live. It is very secure, but there was two man trying to get in and I am right by the exit. They were saying that they were from the electric company and they weren’t so I told them to go away while we do have a camera at the main entrance but not at the back door I’m so thankful Best Buy suggested I get one of these. It puts me to sleep with no problem now so thank you very much for coming out with something that really works well keep up the good work.

The camera works great. It's very compact - doesn't take up much room; and it's easy on the eyes. I like it having rechargeable batteries and connecting by Wi-Fi, so there are no electrical or network wires dangling from it . . . it's easy to just pick up and move around/reposition, when necessary. It's easy to operate, along with the Ring app that controls my Ring network of devices. The clarity of the videos taken by the camera are good - no complaints. Since I've been satisfied by this device since I first purchased my Ring system, I've been buying more of these particular cameras to place in more locations throughout my home, to get more full coverage; this one is the latest addition to my collection.
