For optimal performance, it is not recommended to aim your Ring Outdoor Cam (Formerly known as the Ring Stick Up Cam) directly at a window. The glass can negatively affect the camera's ability to accurately detect motion. Repositioning the camera to a location that avoids facing a window should help to improve motion detection.

Used my Best Buy warranty and replaced it with this camera, just a different color. Works great and no issues with my wifi network connecting to it.

It also holds up well outside. It would be easier to use with electrical outlet so the battery doesn't have to be recharged every 2-3 weeks.
