This camera has exceeded my expectations. Very clear picture. No lag. Still on my first charge after 1 month of usage. Wireless is the best part. I can put it any where I want to in any room in the house.

This is my second stick up camera. Both are outside attached to my house with a solar panel. Easy set up, great picture, and the solar panel keeps the devices fully charged.

I have used Ring products for a few years now and I will have to say that I can 100 percent depend on them. The product is very DIY friendly and just about anyone can set them up. As far as this particular camera goes I use it for inside my home to help keep a eye on my dogs and the battery life is great. You just have to take the motion to minimal or off completely if your using it like I am. Downside of the product is the human only detection is a bit off and my dogs will keep setting it off.

Setup was easy, took about 20minutes. Battery should last about 3-4 months from full charge. Will be purchasing a solar panel to keep the battery charged. Would recommend, going to purchase the flood light camera next.

Image quality is better on this than on my wired doorbell! I was surprised at the clarity. Be sure your wi-fi signal is strong enough and you'll be pleased with this camera's performance and battery life. Consider purchasing a spare battery to keep charged and ready, though. This way you're not without the camera for 5 hours while the battery charges. The only thing I don't like about Ring (in general) is when you receive a notification that motion is detected, by the time the app launches and connects to the camera, you've already missed whatever triggered the sensor. You then have to wait a while before the video recording is processed before you can watch it. Otherwise I have been very pleased with all my Ring devices, including this one!

Bought this camera to monitor our backyard. Works great during day and night. Note though that this camera does NOT have a setting for People Only Motion - so we found that we had to turn off regular alerts because on windy days it was picking up motion from everything that was moving on our patio (umbrellas, grill covers, etc.) The alarms were going off constantly. You can set up private zones to block out those areas - but then you have black squares all over your videos which won't show anything on the recordings in those areas. Knowing this now, we would have probably spent the extra money and bought the Ring Spotlight Camera instead - which has the People Only Motion setting on it. Also waiting to see how the battery holds up in the winter cold weather.

This little camera does what it's supposed to do. If you are familiar with Ring products, it sets up similar to the doorbell. You can set motion zones and have it interact with your other Ring devices. The one gripe I have is that it doesnt come with a wall mount. Typically, if you are buying an outdoor canera, you arent planning on placing it on a table. That should be included in the package. Other than that, I would say that it works well and, so far, we havent had any issues with it. I've only had it for about 3 weeks. I guess ti.e will tell if it was a good investment.

Easy setup and install. Battery lets you place it anywhere which is great. Battery life is good. Sound quality could be better but picture and field of view are good.

I love these cameras! They are easy to set up and have a good image and microphone. We have a two-unit rental property and these cameras make the tenants feel more secure. Sometimes they ask me to check to see if a delivery has come. Setting it to sensitive, I can see the deer, fox, and other critters with the night vision.

Easy to install and easy to connect to with WiFi. Battery life so far is good about 6 weeks and above half battery life. Looks like it’ll last about 3 months before it needs to recharge. Has great sensitivity meter to choose how sensitive you want it to be when reacting to motion. There is a small delay on getting a notification when there is movement and there is an audio delay as well when speaking though it. Overall glad I made the purchase and do not have anything to compare it to because it’s my first security camera. Works great for what I need.

I am extremely happy with this purchase! I went through two different security camera companies before I found that the Ring product is by far the most superior to the previous 2 (Sold in the same aisle) I am not going to badmouth these other products but, I do want consumers to be happy with their purchases. what I found with Ring versus the other two were a quality product at a reasonable price, ease of use and great battery life even through Minnesota’s harsh winters. I bought my first one last year around this time then bought two more this summer!

This camera is amazing. Clear picture, awesome audio, easy to set up. So far its working really well! It was delivered very fast and i got the solar panel with it so i dont have to recharge it
