We like them a lot, and they do provide peace of mind. It's worth noting that after your free trial of the Ring Protect plan expires, it no longer saves the videos to your app; you can still see the live view at any time, though. Also, when you install it, make sure to not install it too high up. Install it as close to eye level as you can, and the motion settings will be easier to set up.
