We also bought the solar panel charger to help with this unit. Has worked great so far. Need to decrease the sensitivity a little. I don’t care what the squirrels are doing.

With a yearly subscription you can monitor multiple cameras on more than one device, Cell phone, Laptop, Desktop, etc.

As they do not come fully charged right off the pack. So far in the cold weather they have been great and not dropped in battery quick.

Be aware as there are connectivity issues and I do not believe it has anything to do with how far unit is from router. Have a mesh system throughout home. Still have issues at times. Frustrating, read other review that wired version has less issues. Will still record and notify your app but if you try to live view immediately the app does not respond quickly. Does make for a quick set up if you need a monitoring camera indoors.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with answering your doorbell from your Ring App. Rapid Ring is a "light" version of the classic Ring app with most of the features stripped out except for the ability to activate a Live View and respond to an event as quickly as possible. By using the Rapid Ring app in conjunction with the original Ring app, you'll be able to answer your notifications as quickly as possible.
