I think it says 30 ft infront of the came it will notify u.. it doesn't.. not sure why.. I put it on the most sensitive setting.. but the fact that I can get a live view is priceless.. the fact that if I here something I can just grab my phone and see if anyone is out there.. is worth the 100 dollars

I wish i had added this Ring camera BEFORE my bike trailer was stolen. The Police might have been able to identify the thief and get the licence plate of the U-Haul Truck that drove away with it. That's why I bought this Ring.
