We have bought two of these, they work great, just buyer beware.

They are motion detection not 24/7 surveillance cameras. But for piece of mind they have been priceless.

The quality is not great, compared to the ring doorbell or any of the other outdoor ones that we have. These will skip in the recording or just not even pickup the motion at all, when a person could literally walk right past the camera or be standing right in front of it. It's very strange and not sure why it happens.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with your Ring Stickup Camera picking up the correct motion. The Stick Up Cam uses infrared motion capturing to detect motion, within its field of view. You can use the Ring app to determine the Stick Up Cam’s motion detection range and the specific zones where motion will trigger a smart alert. These settings help ensure that the Stick Up Cam will capture the events you want to see and ignore the ones you don’t.
