Battery last about 2 weeks before going low. I got the solar panel and don't have to worry about the battery going low anymore. I have 4 setup and in the summer 105+ degree weather they didn't have a problem working. In the winter with temps as low as 25 degrees they were ok too. Would recommend this camera

I have it outside by my barbecue looking out I see my gardeners I see the garbage bin come in on the side of my house and I see my full area so I can watch my pool guy and how long they stay there and cleaning and my fountains , they make me feel safe that’ll ring if someone’s on my property when I’m home there is nothing like the ring and all their products. I have their alarm system and it talks to people when they come up to my doorbell. Tell them to leave my package on the side and out of view. Truly, the ring is the best.

It has been so helpful specially paired with Alexa to answer the door and take messages.

Way more than affordable than the Nest cameras. You need a subscription to save video recordings after the first 30 days. If you plan on getting more than one camera you’ll need the higher tier plan. Keep this in mind. If you’re only planning on having one camera, this is more affordable then getting a Nest camera and the Nest Aware subscription. If you’re getting more one camera, consider Nest.

Great resolution and battery lifespan

Never imagined it would last so long. I switched from Xfinity home security to this and this camera is almost as accurate when catching everything but will rarely miss me coming to the door which doesn’t concerns me that much. it saves me 40 bucks a month and it’s resolution is better than Xfinity’s and a lot more clear.

Don't indoor outdoor video camera

Video quality and audio are clear both day and night

I have 1 outside and 1 in my garage and both work great. The Ring Doorbell battery works with these so I always have a battery on hand to swap out when needed. I wish the Ring Protection Plan would give you a discount though for multiple devices.

The packaging was very good along with the installation instructions. I was a bit concerned about battery life but it turned out to be quite good. Because of my mounting location (higher up) I did decide later to go back and purchase the solar panel for recharging. I am glad I did! The solar panel was easy to install and now I don't have to use a ladder to retrieve the battery when recharging.

The camera is Very light and I am able to put or set the camera up anywhere . We Feel much more secure to have a camera inside the home .

Awesome ring camera i have ever brought!!!

The video quality was super clear was able to see around the house and talk through it. I highly recommend this camera and the fact it had night vision was a bonus.

One is mounted about my back door, one is mounted inside the house. Both were easy to install and connect to the application. Both have been running for 22+ days - and both still have more that 70% of battery charge left. I'm happy with the purchase.

Installed some at my mother in laws house and my own and they are very handy to have. The battery seems to last quite a while and if you pay for the plan ($100) a year you get great customer support!

The battery life is great and because it's wireless, you can put it almost anywhere you have access to wifi to watch things like your backyard for animals, streets for cars, or whatever you might want to record. I'm using it to watch for when chipmunks get trapped in my catch and release trap in my yard. Great value and works well. Go get it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand the importance of having a consistent wifi signal on the Ring Outdoor Cam(Formerly known as the Ring Stick Up Cam). Having a solid connection ensures you do not miss any activity around your home. We are here today to provide you with education to assist you in finding the best solution for your home’s environment.
It sounds like you experienced some connection issues with the device. Usually, devices falling offline repeatedly is related to poor wifi connectivity caused by signal fluctuations, channel congestion, or data loss.
To determine whether or not the problem is caused by poor upload speed, run a speed test to determine if your network can support Ring devices. In edition to ensuring that you have sufficient wifi speeds, you will also want to check the signal strength of your device. Ring devices with 1080p video require at least 1 Mbps upload and download speeds, though 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance.
A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity with your Ring device to be unreliable. Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.
If your networking equipment hasn’t been power cycled in a while, try unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Wireless networks utilize different channels for communication. In the United States, the 2.4 GHz band uses channels 1-11 and the 5 GHz band uses channels 36-165. In some cases, setting up your Ring device(s) can fail due to wireless interference or congestion.
We also recommend adding a Ring Chime Pro to your network. The Ring Chime Pro simply plugs into a wall outlet between your router and the Ring Outdoor Cam to assist with the wifi signal strength to the device.
