Battery life last a decent time and I’m very happy it can be moved from kids rooms, to side of the house with sketchy neighborhoods or even the backyard trying to film a big deer we have been waiting to see. Awesome camera

My only gripe is that the instructions are all over the place for operation and software with seemingly no logical format. So haven't messed much with software so far. Hoping I can make it worthwhile.

We understand the importance of understanding how to use your Ring Outdoor Cam (Formerly known as the Ring Stick Up Cam) so that you can effectively monitor your home. The Ring Outdoor Cam is designed to be a DIY home security solution that can be trusted to provide you with lasting coverage. We are here to provide you with some information to resolve the issue that you mentioned in your review.
The Ring app puts you in control of your home’s security from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Now that you've downloaded the app and set up your Ring Outdoor Cam, get familiar with the command center for all your Ring products. The Dashboard is the first screen you'll see when you open the Ring app. It has three main sections:
The tiles at the top of the screen which can be moved around and organized using the edit tile.
Images from your security cameras or doorbells, which you can tap to quickly get to "Live View."
The "Discover" section highlights new features available to you. The menu (≡) is always in the same place in the upper-left corner of the app. Tapping on it will open a side menu and give you access to the rest of the app's functions.

This Ring stick camera is so easy to set up and it really does let me know when someone has pulled up to my house. The only thing is that my WIFI isn't so great. So, sometimes I get the notice later.

So easy to set up and move anywhere you want. Have one on every level in the house plus flood light camera in back and ring doorbell camera as well. Peace of mind when you’re on vacation and bonus … you can talk to your cats when you’re away.

Easy to install and the picture is great. I got a few extra batteries to keep charged and swap them out quickly rather than waiting for them to charge. The app is great too, it pulls up quickly and love being able to look back at past recorded events.

I am using mine outdoors and they give a good picture. The batteries are easy to charge and reinstall. You will need to work with them to block any unnecessary motion.

The video is clear and the notifications on my Apple Watch give a thumbnail. The battery does take a few hours to charge, however it does last longer than my other camera of a different brand.

Picture and video quality is good. Setup was easy. The battery has lasted a month and is still 3/4 charged. Nothing negative to say at all.

Only negative I would say is the $49.99/year they charge per camera to record videos. Must be something new that I missed because always thought it was $100/year for multiple cameras. This being my third set up around the house.

The stick up one does not require any wiring! We just screwed the base to a piece of wood and the are installed. Probably 15 minutes for the first, 5 minutes for the last. Set up is easy and our entire office parking lot is visible day and night. The picture quality is very good. The only disappointment is battery life. They say 6-9 months. We are having to replace the battery every 2-3 weeks.

It covers a great deal of area, which is what I needed to cover my shop area. I purchased the solar charger to go with it so I didn't have to remove it, charge it, then replace it when the batteries were low.
