Great little cameras with awesome battery life

Image isn't 4k, but it looks plenty clear in HD. They have been able to keep up with the rain and elements, and battery life lasts a long time. I've been using them for weeks and they are still at over 90% of battery.

The battery lasts a couple weeks before I recharge. I can place them and angle them however and wherever in the house I want them. Being able to drop in and communicate thru the cameras is great too.

It has a great real time photo/video picture. It is clear and sharp and I’m so pleased with the quality! Easy installation (plan on less than 20 min.) and the Ring app works with my Android phone!

It has a feature to rotate the camera’s view to allow you to hang the camera upside down. Unfortunately, you will need a special bracket that allows you to hang the camera upside down which luckily is very inexpensive.

Improvements on motion zones help stop false alarms. Battery lasts for a long time without needed a recharge. Going on a month now and down to only 80%.

Blink cameras work well with out the monthly service fee. I use both and I think I will stick with the Blink cameras. I do like how easy this is to move around the house and to face outside. It supplements my blink network

The Ring Home Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. With a Ring Home Plan, you can save, review, and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account. Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

Camera is very clear even during nighttime. Battery lasts for months on a single charge. The app that comes with it is amazing as well. Other ring users can share videos so you can see what’s going on in the neighborhood. 10/10

Got a good price for a device that I can use inside or out, and is battery operated, so I can take it with me when we go on trips to the coast to put in our motel room.

My husband and I love the app interface and the convenience of everything. We are able to keep an eye on our home even when we are not there, and even have a camera to see our dogs and what they are up to throughout the day, which is probably my favorite part. So far the battery life has been impressive, and we love that they are so slim and light weight, so we can move them around the house as needed. The app is great and I like that both my husband and I can have full access to everything, not just one account we have to share. Will for sure buy more of these to add to our account in the future.

This camera works both indoors and outdoors very well in my experience, but with most rings, I notice occasional disconnects which I think is mostly my wifi fault because cox internet service isnt the best.

Having a solid connection ensures you do not miss any activity around your home. We are here today to provide you with education to assist you in finding the best solution for your home’s environment.
It sounds like you experienced some connection issues with the device. Usually, devices falling offline repeatedly is related to poor wifi connectivity caused by signal fluctuations, channel congestion, or data loss.
To determine whether or not the problem is caused by poor upload speed, run a speed test to determine if your network can support Ring devices. In edition to ensuring that you have sufficient wifi speeds, you will also want to check the signal strength of your device. Ring devices with 1080p video require at least 1 Mbps upload and download speeds, though 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance.
A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity with your Ring device to be unreliable. Check the Device Health section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.
If your networking equipment hasn’t been power cycled in a while, try unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Wireless networks utilize different channels for communication. In the United States, the 2.4 GHz band uses channels 1-11 and the 5 GHz band uses channels 36-165. In some cases, setting up your Ring device(s) can fail due to wireless interference or congestion.
We also recommend adding a Ring Chime Pro to your network. The Ring Chime Pro simply plugs into a wall outlet between your router and the Ring Ring Outdoor Cam to assist with the wifi signal strength to the device.
