Clear Picture - WiFi Connecting Needs Improvement

They work fairly well except when you lose power or the internet goes out. Then it could take up to 24 hours for the cameras to reconnect on their own to my WiFi. I have forced them to connect by holding the reset button for 30 seconds, but that is a pain in the neck to reset 3 cameras and a door bell every time the internet goes out. So I just wait until the next day. Very inconvenient. I have a great WiFi signal to all of my cameras so that is not the issue. Whenever you try to get help from Ring, they always blame it on your WiFi which is not the case.

We are able to watch people when we are away from home its also easy to set up and use. I love how it alerts us only to are sensitivity levels that we have put on to it. Overall an amazing cameras.

Great value for a compact camera

It has great resolution for the camera. And the sound quality is great for this little camera. The price is right for this camera and the quality of the camera. It was very easy to set up and pair with Alexa devices.

Great Camera but...

Specifcally trying to get the Camera to sync with the Chime / Wifi network. After 2 hours of tech support calls got it to sync but somehow during all of this the Ring doorbell gets disconnected and won't boot up. Overall the tech support experience was not a fun experience we got everything working in the end and got a replacement ring but for something that should've been a 15-20 minute task to take 4 hours is not fun

Your Ring device may be too far from your wifi router

We have doorbell, spotlight cams, one of these for indoors and one for outdoors. Bought this to put out by our sons playset and our above ground pool. We have a wooded lot next door and a family of raccoons that like to come jump up on our pool and walk through our yard at night so we wanted to keep an eye on what they did. Works well!

It's easy to install and set up and within my budget. What I like most is that I can monitor my phone, my echo devices, and through Alexa via my phone or TV. So where it may not work for some critics it works for me. The clarity is good not perfect but good. All in all, you will be able to monitor your surroundings.

I cant recall how many we have but you do not come near our house with out being on camera. Its helped us on more then one occasion. Once a lawn service said they sprayed our yards and we watched them drive by our house and never stopped. We sent the video to the manger and they responded that they had sprayed the wrong yard after arguing with us for 45 min that they had sprayed our yard.
