I love the battery operated ones because they can go anywhere. Install is a breeze and the app works reliably. I’ve had trouble getting notifications on my iPhone, but a restart on my phone solves that problem...it was my phone not Ring. I also bought one of these to monitor my house interior while traveling. Works perfectly.

This one was pretty simple to setup, the battery part is new to me, but given that we are putting this into chicken coop. We will have to see how long a battery charge lasts, I can foresee us getting another battery, my wife likes to live watch the chickens.

Decided to go with this cuz I'm using it for indoor. So when power goes out, cam can still record. Now I need to find a power cable. Should I use a AC adapter cable or a solar panel to charge the battery? Please advise..
