Battery lasts pretty well. I just wish Ring created different ways to mount a ring outside (like in a garden/patio without walls).

So very happy with Ring products and recommend. We specifically bought this one for a recent trip we took. Mainly so we could watch our dog at the VRBO while we werre out.

This is wireless so doesn't require any wiring for installation. It will connect directly to wifi hence does not require a hub or sync module.

Ring Stick Up Camera

I already had a couple of spotlights configured so adding the camera was very easy. Although not all of the reviews I read were good most were, I haven't had it very long but so far, I haven't had any issues with it so far and the picture quality is excellent.

I feel at ease now when we leave our home and I can check in on the cats and check in on our house. I also love the features in the app and they don’t look like cameras when you put them around but more like a scent diffuser which great!

I bought two of these for my home to go alone with my ring doorbell pro. I would recommend also purchasing the solar charger for it cause climbing on a ladder to charge the battery every time can be a pain, especially if you have bad knees! Also porch lights will give the image a glare making it harder to see so you have to make sure you place it far enough away from those. Other than that the picture will be very clear, the app is so so. Sometimes it takes a minute to connect and we’ve had to reconnect it more then once. Easy to install

I recommend it if you're using it for close quarter areas, anything further from 10-15 ft away is hard to see details of. It worked in terms of keeping people from looking inside my car and "shopping". I would say the only improvements it needs to work on is camera quality and the motion detection is a hit or miss, even with the settings up all the way. It'll detect but start recording super late.

First and foremost, we thank you for your business and the opportunity in serving your home security needs. The Ring Stick Up Cam is designed to connect you to 1080p HD video consistently and reliably. We understand how important the video feature is, as this allows you to see your visitors.
Poor video quality or connectivity can sometimes be caused by a wifi issue. We recommend running a distance test in order to discover what video resolution you are receiving at your router, compared to how it performs when mounted. For the best results, please do the following:
1. Remove your Ring Camera from its mounting and bring it into the same room as your wifi router.
2. Be sure you've turned off your cellular data and connected to the same 2.4GHz wifi network as your Ring device.
3. Open your Ring app on your smart-phone or tablet.
4. Trigger a motion event on your Ring Camera.
5. Examine the resulting video.
There are two possibilities that will occur during the distance test: the device will have crisp and clear video as it is intended to have, or the video will still be of poor quality.
If you find that the video is clear, and you are connected fast, then we recommend improving the wifi signal to your Ring camera by connecting it to a wifi extender, such as the Ring Chime Pro. However, if you find that the video is still of poor quality or takes too long to load, then you will want to address issues with your wifi speeds.

One in the front yard one on the rear yard. They were easy to put up and connect to my other Ring camera. I also purchased the solar panels to keep them charged, well worth the purchase.
