We lived in an apartment and we’re going to use this, but for some reason it didn’t fit right upon installation. Great deal, solid camera quality, just wasn’t for me. I wound up exchanging for ring door bell 3. Either way, Ring is the way to go for front door security. Plus we can hook it up to our Alexa and see on our TVs who’s at front door.

Ring Peep Hole Door Bell

I just moved into this apartment and noticed a Ring Peep Hole door Bell on a neighbors doors and put one in my door ASAP. Now I can see everything and everyone that approaches or walks by my door. Love the sense of security

I feel so much safer about my packages and overall safety. Glad Ring made this product! Absolutely awesome and bettery lasts a LONG time, 1 month in so far and it's still at 3/4 charge even with it recording basically 1 time an hour

Unfortunately the outside of the front door is not my property but that of the landlords. And because that is the case I am not permitted to add anything on the outside of the door that is not approved by the landlord, and because these devices make such a loud noise my landlord said no. SO advice is check with your landlord first... but even before that check to see if you would need to drill a hole in your door anyways.

The picture is very clear as long as you have good wifi. However, it does not have the flexibility to flip upside down so make sure your door has the hole the correct way. Note that if you want to view previous footage, you have to pay $3/ month for their services.

I think it just needs a really strong WiFi connection and close to the door.
