Battery life sucks though. Also a bit concerned about security (meaning data privacy), but it just about saved our life during this pandemic in making sure we knew exactly who was at our door.

After like two week trial you need to pay for the ability for it to store videos and be able to playback, so be prepared to pay a few dollars a month for this service.

Doesn't work with storm door!

I purchased this back in February and by the time I got around to installing it I found out that It is not compatible if you have a storm door. It will only recognize someone close up and you cant really talk to them because the storm door acts as a barrier. I should have done my homework on this one. Now it's to late to return so it's sitting brand new in the box. Now I'll have to spend more money on a regular ring doorbell. Lesson learned. I would recommend if you don't have a storm door.

I do need to contact ring themselves to see how I can fix being able to hear the people outside when doing the walkie talkie.
