Never get low battery alerts, missed 3 events.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this ring doorbell for about 6 months, and so far I've never received a low battery warning. There's no setting in the app to enable it, and as a result the battery was dead on 3 occasions when reviewing video was needed. So far, it's been absolutely worthless as a result. When you need it, the battery is dead. Kinda like old british cars, the wipers work great, as long as it's not raining.

The Ring app displays your devices' battery level for your convenience. To see the battery status, please follow these steps.
- Launch the Ring app and select the main menu.
- Select the word 'Devices'
- Tap the Ring device in question.
You'll see a battery icon displaying that particular devices' battery status. You can tap on the icon for a detailed battery percentage.
When the battery starts to get low, you'll receive email reminders for convenience. The emails will be titled "It's Time To Recharge Your Ring Peephole Cam.". This way, you'll know ahead of time to recharge the battery.
