The Ring rechargeable battery lasts a long time (about two weeks or more in normal use). It takes a few hours to recharge, but that is why it lasts so long.

It's good to have a second battery for ring devices. One can be charging wile there is no lapse in time.

I recommend purchasing the back up battery. Out trying never has to stop recording so we can charge the battery pack since we have this back up.
