The Ring camera we got ar the same time allows for a spare battery to be installed do there is no down time while a battery charges.

Would recommend to anyone with rechargeable battery cameras. Keep a spare charged to easily swap when battery dies.

Definitely good to have a rechargeable battery. It's very convenient so that your not without service when the battery dies.

In order to get the quick change feature on the Ring doorbell you need a second battery that has been fully charged. It’s worth it’s weight in “cash”

The ring battery lasts about 60 days on the lower motion settings . A very nice item to have is a spare . It’s affo and it always good to have a backup.
