    The spotlight cams run on one Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery which needs to be charged every 4 - 6 weeks and takes 8 hours to charge. Rather than have downtime during charging, a back-up Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery was purchased. The camera has automatically switched to the fully-charged battery when the other one runs out. Now there's always a charged battery ready to keep it working.
