Works great and is a back up for multiple ring devices. Between the door cam and stick up cams, this is a great option to have a swappable backup battery pack for whenever one being used needs to be recharged. It's also a good option to have for the current Stick Up Cam Wired version as it can be used for it as well. Essentially the Wired version comes with a power cable instead of a battery pack and vice versa for the Wire-free version of the camera. Battery comes with the USB A to micro USB charging cable, but not a wall plug adapter....but thats something we already have and plus I rather them not have a higher item cost when including an item I dont need.

Having this spare battery keeps my Ring cam up and running … never down for a whole day to recharge the battery. Well-priced for uninterrupted video and security.

The Ring 2 comes with a battery but I'm glad that I purchased this one so that I can switch them out and not have to wait on it to charge. Very convenient and easy to switch out.

Now I can always have my ring camera working at all times. I highly suggest if you have a Ring spotlight camera that you purchase the extra batteries...my cameras are always on, no down time with the extra batteries. Best Buy/Geek Sqad Associates all very knowledgeable and sooo helpful. I really appreciate their help...I also purchased Best Buy Service plan and I called Geek Squad to help with my camera and my other 3 computers to sync together and it was easy to schedule for service and technician will be coming over tomorrow afternoon.
