It's a battery

It works, holds a charge well, charges quickly. Definitely needed if running wireless Ring devices.

Good battery as long as you use the recommended settings on the device. Since this camera is not easily accessible, I purchased a solar panel which keeps the batteries charged.

I tried those and learned quickly that my money was misspent with those. You only need one of these, along with the battery the camera came with, instead of four of the cheapies.

Love that they are universal across the whole ring family of products. They last long, charge easily, and just feel solid. Happy with the purchase. I am trying to save enough to buy another bulb so I have two spare batteries in case one is needed to replace equipment.

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased 4 ring cameras. 2 of which use 2 batteries each and 2 that use 1 each. I also have a Ring doorbell. 2 of the Ring Cameras only come with 1 battery but are capable of installing 2 for a much longer duration between charges. Therefore, I purchased 3 extra rechargeable batteries. 2 for each empty slot on the Ring spotlight cameras and 1 as an extra battery to have on standby. Although batteries need to be replaced periodically, I can go 2+ months before exchanging them because of the extra batteries installed. Extra batteries are a must have if you own any Ring surveillance device.
