Works the same as the one that comes with the original doorbell. Manufacturer should include two batteries as a default in doorbell package b/c if you need the battery b/c you can’t hardwire doorbell then one battery is painfully insufficient. Battery takes 4hrs or so to fully charge so you have to pull out battery and charge. Meantime, if you didn’t buy an extra battery you have no doorbell or security camera for 4+ hrs. “Ease of use” & “value” I gave low ratings b/c of issue of only one battery described above. Manufacturer already knows you need two batteries so why make you pay for something that should be included.
