Keep your ring doorbell active 24/7

Otherwise I would have to spend hours without an active doorbell camera while the single battery charges. Definitely worth it!

Must have for backup powerfor ring 3

My ring 3 uses the battery in 3 weeks of use due to my location.

An Unfortunate Accessory For Powerless Folks

So we picked up the Ring 2 since you can just go off battery packs. This is a must if that is the case for you. Charging takes a good 5-6 hours. And here in IL, I'm only getting about three weeks of use per charge. According to Ring, it's partially all the movement and partially the cold temps on the battery. Both excuses annoy me but that's another conversation.

Your battery dies out within a month or so depending how you have it set up. Best idea to have a charged up battery waiting. Easy to put it too

I recommend buying a second battery if your ring device isn’t hard wired.
