The interchangeability between devices is excellent. You must buy 2 to have continuous power; you won't be disappointed.

Spare for my camera, even though it’s hardwired the battery drains fast and doesn’t trickle charge fast enough because I Live in a high foot traffic area. If I turn down the sensitivity then I don’t get alerts when someone is actually at my door, but it will alert when a car drives by down the street.

I bought an extra battery for my ring camera when the battery gets low. It takes awhile for them to charge up so I bought an extra to save the time.

I had one of the originals and due to some occasional long vacation trips the charge would die. I really enjoy yhe higher quality video and easy of use (including notifications).
