    We decided to purchase a second battery, so when the Ring 2 Video doorbell battery gets low, I can swap it out rather than keep the doorbell inoperative until the battery recharges. I would recommend so there is never any downtime with the doorbell. The battery keeps a charge for 6-8 weeks of normal daily use depending on the parameters set on your doorbell.
