It takes awhile to charge so prior to replacing the current battery I charge the spare. This ensures there’s no downtime to the service.

Rest assured, we are here to provide you with some solar solutions that may be a good fit for your home's environment.
The Ring Solar Panel and Super Solar Panel are designed to provide power for charging the Ring Stick Up Cam and Spotlight Cam. Which product is right for you depends on two important factors:
Number of Motion Events per day: If your Ring device is in an area that detects more events every day than average (defined as 10+events per day) then your battery will drain faster and require more power or recharging more often.
Your Solar Environment: Warmer climates and areas that get less rain and cloud cover will get more kW of solar energy per day than rainier or cloudier zones. In such areas, having a larger solar panel may be a necessity for powering your Ring device.

I love the doorbells for a security system by the way. must be easier to keep footage if you pay a little. But watch the date on annual pymt. 1 day and everything gets deleted if you cant down load prior to. im recommednding the battery based on ones purchased elsewhere
