Works well as designed and allows me to have a backup if the other battery fails.

I use it in a ring spotlight camera. The battery life lasted about two months. It’s a hassle to climb a ladder, remove the battery and charge it. It’s best to use two batteries. I’m happy with this purchase.

Wanted a extra battery for my ring doorbell 2. I just take out the one needing charging and put in the extra one. Works great.

The battery is performing beautifully, only problem is how fully the battery and won’t know until it install into ring . Report when it was installed it showed power level of 97%

When you weren't able to hard wire the Ring, it's worth it to have a spare battery that you can have charged and ready to swap when you get a low battery notification. I think it's better to remain protected while the battery charges. Changing the battery only takes a few minutes

I like the fact that the rechargeable battery wouldn't drained the power quickly. Once the battery is fully charged, it should lasts about 7 months or so depending how often you use your doorbell. The price of the battery is also affordable too considering you can recharge many times using USB cable.

I purchased an extra battery along with the Ring 2 doorbell and Chime Pro after reading reviews about relatively short battery life. We live in a rural setting and don't have a lot of front door traffic. Our house is away from the street so the doorbell motion is more likely to be set off by birds, squirrels, and raccoons than people. That said, the original battery still shows 3/4 charge after being in place for over a month and a half. Of course this would change drastically in a high traffic area or with different notification or recording settings.

Great backup as needed. Important item for quick replacement when your wireless ring devices die. Used on all wireless devices by ring.

The Ring already comes with a battery but you really need two. When one battery dies the other one takes over and recharging them is super easy

I bought a spare battery for my new Ring 2 video doorbell. This battery has been in my doorbell for over two weeks and it still says 44% battery left. I wanted to always have a spare battery so I wouldn't have to wait to charge the current one and then put it back. This is good if I can maybe get 3 weeks of battery charge.

I have a Ring outdoor cam attached to Solar panel which works great during sunny weather. The single battery will charge but drain quickly on the days without sun. Have a backup battery in the camera is a great way to ensure backup power during days without sun. It is there when you need it the most.

Purchased an additional battery so I could have one charged and ready to swap out, instead of removing the battery to charge and the camera being inactive for a few hours. Does exactly what you would expect it to, and they seem to last a good amount of time with each charge.

Works as described. Recommend having one or two for spares to ensure uninterrupted service to your cameras. It depends on how many cameras you have.

Because we bought two Ring stick up security cameras, we thought we would need an extra battery.However they stay charged for over a month an half.It’s good when we need to put a new battery in,but haven’t needed it yet…Excellent product!! Thanks the Thomson’s

This is a great addition to your battery-powered Ring product. I don’t have my security camera/light hard wired and this allows me to be charging one battery while using the other in the fixture. I’m never without security while charging a battery. Highly recommend.
