I bought this for my niece. Her Ring Doorbell is not hooked to electricity. Having a spare battery helps to insure she will have uninterrupted use and coverage without having to wait ch or her battery to recharge.

Great camera super easy to install if you dont get geek squad to do it, and pic and video are super super clear even at night. Microphone on it is hit or miss whether completely clear or a little mumble but it's not that bad

I would recommend if you have a battery power ring device to have at least two batteries, so you can just swap them out when needed. Did this for a Peephole cam and it is just a quick swap every 2 months. Perfect!

Purchased the extra battery to add to my Ring Spotlight Cam that came with one battery. Having two batteries will help reduce battery consumption and extend number of days between recharge times.

We got this as a backup battery for our outdoor Ring camera. While we’re charging one battery, we have the other in the camera. That way, there’s always a battery in the camera. I would recommend purchasing an extra battery.

Purchased as a back up battery for my outdoor solar ring. Charged for several hours and replaced the other battery that last about 4 months on the charge. So far the new battery is working good.

This battery is quick charging. Only 1 battery is included in the original packaging. So I had to purchase extra battery for a Ring device that needed 2 batteries to function.

The Batteries are easy to charge and have a long life. I have one extra for my system and keep it charged at all times in order to replace another low battery and my system never goes down while having to wait to charge.

The battery has a long life. It lasts about two weeks. But it does take about 24 hours to recharge. So, I purchased a second battery so that I can swap them out of my Ring Doorbell 2 without interruption.

Purchased as a second battery for unit so wouldn't be without coverage. Charges pretty quickly. Easy to install in unit. Battery that came with unit lasted about 2 weeks before it needed a charge.

It's an oem ring battery. You get what you pay for, and it's great if you can get it on sale too
