I have owned the Ring door bell for a couple of months now. The instructions were really simple to understand. Mounting the door bell was fairly easy to do. Most of the tools needed to mount it came with the product. The Lithium battery was really easy to install and replace. The battery lasts around two weeks. Its easy to recharge. I bought a second battery just so there is not lapse in the bell working.

I purchased this battery as a backup. I previously purchased the same battery. It holds a charge for a long time and the battery lasts forever.

These are lasting 3-4 weeks on their own in my Ring spotling cam. So with 2...I think I can get 2 months off continuous use without going to retrieve a battery to recharge. That said...retrieving it is super easy and well thought out by the engineers / product designers. Press two buttons/levers and close the door back up. Walk the battery in hand to the micro USB and your on your way to having a fully charged battery again.

This battery recharges very quickly! I am glad that I bought this, great to keep a backup fully charged and ready to go.

The battery charges and works great. I had to switch the batteries out when it was very cold, and my solar charger wasn't getting a lot of sun. This charges with the little USB cable provided. I have the Ring Spotlight Cam and it was very easy to switch them. You really should have an extra battery on hand.

This is an excellent battery for my Ring doorbell 2. I use it as a backup to the battery that came with the Ring doorbell and it works great. It is very easy to install and has a very long battery life so I don’t have to change them very often. Having two is a good idea because these batteries take a long time (several hours) to charge so with two my Ring doorbell is never without a battery.

Bought this as extra for my Ring’s Video Doorbell 2 and for my Spotlight Cam. Was going to get the Solar Panel for the Spotlight Cam, and the Solar Charger for the Video Doorbell …but we don’t get much sun where we have installed our Ring’s product. The batteries are easy to remove from and insert into the Ring’s product.

Long lasting battery highly recommended. Ring battery last longer than the off main brand.

I have a ring camera that I needed to have an additional battery for so that I would be able to keep the camera constantly running at all times without changing the battery as much. So now I have four batteries for easy access to keep the power going. The batteries are long lasting depending on your usage. Fortunately, I have many cats, foxes, bunnies and dogs running by the camera causing a little bit more usage than usual. The batteries have held charges for at least about three months or more even with all of the back-and-forth of the wildlife outside. 

The Ring Quick Release Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery is an essential accessory for anyone with Ring devices like the Video Doorbell or Spotlight Cam. After using it for several months, I can confidently say that this battery delivers excellent performance, convenience, and reliability.

We bought extra ring batteries so we didn’t have to go without a functioning camera. I highly recommend having extra batteries on hand! We bought the charger at Best Buy as well and it’s been so wonderful!

Great to have. Was happy we could buy just buy the battery. Our camera is the spotlight one that has a slot for a backup battery. This has cut down on me having to climb a ladder and replace battery's. Also we never have to have the cameras down while we are waiting for batteries to charge.
