If you are using the ring 2 with a battery as the source of power, then this is a must. So that you always have 1 charged when the one in the ring 2 device is being used.

It's a battery, it fits my Ring camera like it's supposed to, and it holds a charge for a decent length of time.

Awesome if your ring isn’t hooked up to the doorbell. Battery lasts long if you don’t have many alerts set up otherwise plan to charge every week or less

Bought this to allow swapping batteries on Ring doorbell. Always buy a spare battery so you can swap between two batteries and have no downtime on your doorbell camera.

Really good battery, it takes a really long time to fully charge the battery. If your going to buy a wireless ring buy 2 battery keep one charging and the other in the right

Its nice to having a second battery when using the solar panel for charging. Especially in the winter when the sunlight during the day becomes much shorter.

Since the doorbell lets you know when it’s getting low on the battery. It have time to get my backup battery ready to replace the one in so I don’t lose any camera time.

If you use your Ring 2 using the battery, not hard wired, you need a second battery. I have my setting on motion and get about 30 a day. My battery last about 2 months without charging.

Having an extra battery on hand makes the battery replacement and charging much easier, more seamless.

It’s great having a spare battery. Why delivery people no longer ring doorbells is beyond me. Now we don’t have to wait for our battery to charge. Just change it out.
