The charge lasts a very long time. To put them in the cameras or take them out is extremely easy. Can’t get any more simple than to push the silver tab to take them out and nothing special but to put the battery in place to put them in. The cameras can take dual batteries which if outdoor buy them!!!

Having a second battery for your Ring doorbell is a must if you don't want to lose the doorbell for about 10 hours. This is the same battery as the one that came with your unit and you just charge it and keep it in the drawer until the Ring app tells you it's time to charge the one in the doorbell. Take the dead one out, but this one in, you're back up and running in 2 minutes. It's weird, but once you have this line of protection for you and your family, it's a little unsettling to have it go down for a day. You'll never have to worry about that with a second battery on hand.

l like the idea of one battery to fit all device. It fits doorbell, sport light camera and indoor wireless camera. This battery is long lasting, you only have to change the battery every three to six months depends on the device location .
