This is a great Battery,. I have a side door that does not have the power for a doorbell, so I use the "Doorbell" with batter only. I purchased the Extra Battery so when the Battery gets low, I just exchange it with the one that I keep on Charge, and Charge the one that is Low!

It's great to have a charged battery to install when the battery in use is low. Easy to charge and easy to replace the low battery. Peace of mind.

You almost have to buy an additional battery if you have any ring product. They charge time is atrocious but it will last a good while, especially if you have your camera security set to a lower setting. With an extra battery though, it’s just an easy switch out and I’m right back to recording. Highly recommend!

I takes a few hours to charge, but a charge lasts several weeks to several months, depending on which Ring system it’s in (doorbell, camera, etc). Easy to remove and charge.

Nice to have a few extra batteries so we can swap out without losing footage during charging.

great to have a spare battery. These last a few months each so that is really handy. I always keep an extra one charged up ready to install. Installation is simple.

Back up battery is great. doesnt get ruin even in the rain. charges fast and hold charge for more than a month. easy to use and install as well.

Really great batteries. Its great having the back up in case it goes out while at work, etc. They last a really long time too and we always have kids setting it off constantly. Lol great value.

A very good back-up battery for my Ring doorbell. During some recent renovations, the wire connected to my Ring became dead, and the battery that has been in my doorbell ran out of juice. I recharged it for the first time in 3 years. Then I found that it can take up to 10 hours to recharge. So I bought this as back-up. It is great. It comes with a recharging wire. I charged it and put it with my other batteries, and when the other one runs out again, I just go get it and switch them out.

With the 2 batteries installed you will have video for a long time. They take hours to charge but the last a long time. Also easy to change out.

I think the purchase of an extra battery is helpful and the price is fair, but the fact that you kind of need it for someone like myself and in the location we had it. Unfortunately we no longer have the doorbell do to some financial issues, but I feel that Ring products are a great investment but I wish I had a clear understanding that I would not be able to make it run from a plug or make it a plug-in type of device. Honestly there may possibly be a way but I’m not very tech savvy and don’t have the patience. Now I know it’s a doorbell not security monitor, but I used it for both because of the fact that I don’t always watch it when I’m out and about but I monitor constantly while I’m home due to my anxiety I guess or because I am use to doing surveillance while I was active duty. Well with all that I said If you have the Ring Doorbell 2 then please invest in an extra battery it’s very helpful.
