I have a camera that watches the front of my 90+ father in law's house. (this isn't creepy, we know he's OK if we see him get the mail, it's not in his house. There was one day when he couldn't get his phone to work and he went out and waved at the camera so we'd come and help him). There was no way to get a wired connection to that location. Having this extra battery makes it easy to keep the camera running by making a quick change when I'm there in person. In the summer the battery lasts a long time. Winter seems much shorter.

Excellent purchase to have a back up Ring battery charged and ready to insert when other is low and need charging.

This is more a convenience to have as it helps when the original battery wears down so you don't have to wait for it to recharge.

It solved our problem with our Ring immediately! It was easy to charge and put in.

This battery is much more reliable than the less expensive copycat versions. I tried those and learned quickly that my money was misspent with those. You only need one of these, along with the battery the camera came with, instead of four of the cheapies.

You almost have to buy an additional battery if you have any ring product. They charge time is atrocious but it will last a good while, especially if you have your camera security set to a lower setting. With an extra battery though, it’s just an easy switch out and I’m right back to recording. Highly recommend!

This is a great Battery,. I have a side door that does not have the power for a doorbell, so I use the "Doorbell" with batter only. I purchased the Extra Battery so when the Battery gets low, I just exchange it with the one that I keep on Charge, and Charge the one that is Low!
