The original battery has been working since April and is down to 40% charge so soon we will need to swap out the original battery and put in this back-up battery.

We have several cameras that need their batteries changed about once per month. So, we bought a set of back up batteries for all our cameras. That way when a battery runs low we have a quick and easy method of exchange.

The Ring Peephole Doorbell Camera only comes with one battery and because it takes quite a bit of time to charge it fully, that means you’re in for a long period where your system is down. Good to have one charged and ready to go.

Works well and is dirt simple to recharge with an Apple phone charger or any other usb charger connection.
