It’s for the ring doorbell 2 and Spotlight cam. Lasts close to 3 weeks in the doorbell. I’m constantly viewing live and have the motion and notifications set to the highest. If you lower those settings it might last way longer. I don’t mind, we have 2 spare.

Having longevity in a battery-powered security device is crucial when it comes to monitoring your home, especially if you are away for long periods of time. We are here to provide you with some education to resolve the battery life issue you mentioned in your review.
The more events captured by your Ring devices, the more your battery is used. Using "Live View" often can also drain your battery faster. If your device is capturing an excessive number of events each day, you may need to recharge your battery sooner. To prevent excessive activity, under "Motion Settings" for your device in the Ring app you can:
Adjust your "Motion Sensitivity" slider to a lower sensitivity.
Redraw your "Customizable Motion Zones."
Change "Motion Frequency" to regularly or periodically.
You could also adjust the direction of your Ring device so it doesn't detect as much motion.

Ring battery

The winter time and our cloudy weather totally drained the one battery even though it was connected to a solar panel.

However, the battery model number was exactly the same and it works great with my camera.

Just didn't want to be running to the store in the event, so we have this as a spare just in case...
