Takes awhile to charge, once installed battery runs low on power. Very simple process to just swap a spare with original.

I therefor opted to purchase another battery to swap out whenever the charge of the battery runs low.

Now I realize that this has always been a problem with batteries but I was thinking that with cars and trucks that are going to be our only mode of transportation if the government has their way that this wouldn't be such an issue at this point...wrong

The cameras in our system consume much more battery power than expected, even after the system has been adjusted to be more energy efficency, so extra battery is quite useful.

It will not recharge the battery even though it is hardwired. I have to place it with a new one. Oh well.

If cameras are not in a location to easily remove and charge, this is a great solution. Cost effective, too.

I tried the solar charger but it didn't work for me. So now I always keep one of these guys on the charger and switch it out every month or so.
