Takes a few hours to charge, so take used battery out and replace. Charge used one so ready to keep doorbell working. Installs very easily.

Better to be safe and not lose any footage from Ring video because of a dead battery.

If it damages your Ring device you can deal direct with Ring. If you buy 3rd party you’re on your own, and to risk that for $10? Cmon the choice is easy.
