Good thing Best Buy has them since most vendor cannot ship battery. Ring batteries last longer especially during summer.

I bought this on Jin 2019 and writing this review on April 2020, as I wanted to know whether the battery performance drops over the time period after months of usage. What I am seeing is the performance is almost the same as the new one and working great with my Ring wireless outdoor camera. Very convenient.

We have 4 cameras & a doorbell all running on battery, so nice to have the spare charged up and ready to keep our home system secure.

The battery that came with the ring 2 is only down to 70 percent after 3 weeks. Battery lasts a long time! Since it takes about 4 or 5 hours to charge back up I got another battery so I can just change them out and keep one ready at all times. I'm sure the battery will last at least 2 months, probably 3 months. Battery lasts a long time! Good purchase!

I had Arlo cameras which had way better battery life. I had to buy this to add to my already existing battery. now even with this I feel I need the solar panel

You can quickly recharge one or two Ring Quick Release Battery Packs at once with the Ring Charging Station. Mine last over tw0 months before needing a charge. The Ring unit uses one battery until it gets low and then switched to the other battery. This gives you plenty of time to charge the battery that is low while still having full power and never losing video.

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You can never have too many ring batteries, only one comes with the camera, so I bought a second one for added peace of mind, with a second battery, the camera last much longer because of the two battery system, it works off one at a time, so when one runs out you still have another to keep the system up, this way you can charge one at a time.
