For some reason or another I did not know that Ring sells an extra battery. Unfortunately I did not buy the wired unit however this battery operated one works perfectly fine. I can see all my packages being delivered and now I can swap batteries while the other charges.

Overall, this battery has held up well in all seasons. It does rake a little bit of time to charge up but the Ring app is very good at letting us know when to recharge them before they are dead. Very happy with the product.

The ring batteries usually last for quite some time even long enough for you to even forget about your ring doorbell even needed a battery. So haveing a secondary fully charged battery all ready for is PERFECT.

I bought this this to keep as a backup since i have several Ring devices. Worth the extra cost to have a longer lasting battery. Also works flawlessly with ring devices.

Perfect back up battery to use whenever we need to recharge the original. This way my device is still able to be used and record. We are hardwired to doorbell, but in long stretches of near zero temps in the northeast, the battery still needed to be charged.

I got an extra Ring rechargeable battery so when my other Ring batteries go low I just change to the charge battery right away. Very convenient

I have several ring devices (8 cameras total between spot light cameras and stick up cameras) and they all are battery operated with solar charging. But during winter time couple of cameras dont get enough sun to charge. So purchased as a backup battery for those and it works perfect in those devices

This purchase was for a backup battery nevertheless it's an essential part of my home security. The best part of this purchase was along with the battery Best Buy had All accessories that go with the ring system. BB is the lowe's of the electronics world. A great place to shop s joy to go to.

We love our ring cameras. We just got an additional battery that way we always have one charged that we can replace without having to wait for it to charge.

So necessary. It makes it so much easier to have one charging while using the other. I don't have to lose time in between changing the battery.

I purchased one on eBay not good so best buy had a new battery so happy i did not have to buy a new ring door bell only the battery

If you purchase any of the ring cameras that have the option for a 2nd battery, then I highly recommend you also purchase an extra battery. I use a battery floodlight outside and only have to charge both batteries once or so a month vs probably every other week with just the one.

This extra battery really comes in handy during these cold and gloomy days! It keeps the Ring light and sensor active and provides the secure feeling that the total perimeter of the house is being monitored.

Works great and makes my life a bit easier knowing I’ll have constant monitoring because I’ll always have a charged battery.
