Great to have a spare battery for the devices. The charge time is around 6-10 hours and if you don't have another battery your device is down for that long. When the battery that is in the device gets low I can just swap it out with the spare and it's running again for six months. Charge the other one and it's ready to go when needed.

I use it in a ring spotlight camera. The battery life lasted about two months. It’s a hassle to climb a ladder, remove the battery and charge it. It’s best to use two batteries. I’m happy with this purchase.

Battery has not given me any issues. I use it as a backup. Use it while the other charges up. It holds the charge for extended amount of time. Never have had a problem with the battery losing it’s charge because it has been kept in a drawer waiting for it to be used. Will definitely buy again if needed.

The battery is performing beautifully, only problem is how fully the battery and won’t know until it install into ring . Report when it was installed it showed power level of 97%

We like being able to see when our packages and mail arrive at our door. We also like to see who is at our door before we open it. Ring was a wise purchase and we had a Best Buy techician install it.

When you weren't able to hard wire the Ring, it's worth it to have a spare battery that you can have charged and ready to swap when you get a low battery notification. I think it's better to remain protected while the battery charges. Changing the battery only takes a few minutes

I like the fact that the rechargeable battery wouldn't drained the power quickly. Once the battery is fully charged, it should lasts about 7 months or so depending how often you use your doorbell. The price of the battery is also affordable too considering you can recharge many times using USB cable.

They work great and hold a charge great. Looking and getting a few more to have as backup to make it easier to change out.

I purchased an extra battery along with the Ring 2 doorbell and Chime Pro after reading reviews about relatively short battery life. We live in a rural setting and don't have a lot of front door traffic. Our house is away from the street so the doorbell motion is more likely to be set off by birds, squirrels, and raccoons than people. That said, the original battery still shows 3/4 charge after being in place for over a month and a half. Of course this would change drastically in a high traffic area or with different notification or recording settings.

Works as described. Recommend having one or two for spares to ensure uninterrupted service to your cameras. It depends on how many cameras you have.

Needed an extra battery so my doorbell camera would be functioning 24/7/365. Works good like all the other Ring brand items I use.

I have a Ring outdoor cam attached to Solar panel which works great during sunny weather. The single battery will charge but drain quickly on the days without sun. Have a backup battery in the camera is a great way to ensure backup power during days without sun. It is there when you need it the most.

I bought a spare battery for my new Ring 2 video doorbell. This battery has been in my doorbell for over two weeks and it still says 44% battery left. I wanted to always have a spare battery so I wouldn't have to wait to charge the current one and then put it back. This is good if I can maybe get 3 weeks of battery charge.

Easy to change out for a fully charged battery. Does take over night to get a full charge.
